Apologies for the delay in posting. Although I don’t like to complain about this, can’t help; we just had some crazy hot days here in Toronto. One thing I did, made me sick for about a week and then had to catch up with thousand other things that I do. So I learned, sipping into icy cold beverages is not always a good idea.
I recently discovered this beautiful beach in Pickering, Ontario. It’s a shame that I didn’t know about it as I used to live in the area for years. It’s true that we always look for faraway places to visit when we have the best in our own neighbourhood. That’s why I made myself a promise this Summer – to explore some local attractions, and trust me; my bucket list is so long that I am sure that I won’t be able to get through it this year.
This beach, located on the north shore of Lake Ontario by the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station, is truly a hidden gem (was it hidden only for me?) and I highly recommend you pay a visit if you can.
Okay let’s face this. We are dealing with some serious hot days in the city. (oh did I say it again?) So putting any clothes on is the last thing we would want to do. Since that is not an option, we got to choose the outfits that would cover what it should and yet feel like we are naked.
Beaches and light dresses are a great combo when it comes to hot summer evenings. I couldn’t think of anything better than this little mini dress for my evening out. It is chic, cute, fashionable and for sure could stand the heat. Summer light, beautiful sunsets, the smell of a breeze and how the wind feels under your dress – its heaven on earth.
By the way, a new blog post with extra tips & tricks in choosing summer outfits to beat the heat will be soon available. So stay tuned!
Until then have a wonderful time!
xoxo
